Teledyne Microwave in May 2006 acquired KW Microwave Corporation (now Teledyne KW Microwave). “Teledyne KW Microwave’s products and capabilities are very complementary to those of Teledyne Microwave and Teledyne’s other defense electronic companies,” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Teledyne Technologies.

Teledyne KW Microwave was founded in 1974 to serve the microwave industry with miniature microwave filters utilizing unique lumped element design techniques.  The product lines of Teledyne KW Microwave include different types of filters, multiplexers, diplexers, multipliers, solid state switches, switch filters, low noise amplifiers, preamplifiers, coaxial switches, along with integrated sub-systems covering the frequency range of 5 MHz to 40 GHz.
